I Know Just How She Feels...........

I think I will just pout a while longer. This week has been one of those weeks that held promise at the beginning, but has slowly deteriorated. I have spent the whole week playing musical sewing machines. I am about to decide it must be me that is the problem, none of them will cooperate. One of them won't stay threaded, the thread keeps breaking. Another one that I just paid to have an automatic threader put on won't let me thread anything now! I can't sew a straight seam, I can't thread the darn things, I can't find any of the three long needle nose tweezers I KNOW I have, I can't find some wool thread I KNOW I have, I can't find some fabric I KNOW I have, etc. with a couple of patterns, and so on and so on. I think the final thing happened this afternoon when I had just finished up something and Aud came in to talk, and I was going to show her what I had finally managed to get done, and I culdn't find it! I searched for 5 minutes, with Aud helping me, and we finally found it laying on my bed. How in the devil it got there is beyond me. Hilarious, right?

So I think I will just pout and stomp my foot a few more days and just watch movies.

And speaking off, this is a review of what I have kept my mind off of my sewing frustrations with.....

American Gangster....great movie, Denzel Washington does a fantastic job
Michael Clayton......same as above
Fiesta of Love.......funny little film, Morgan Freeman is wonderful as usual, even Aud enjoyed this one.
No Reservations.....I like Catherine Zeta Jones, and this was a fun story, and the music was really good in it if you like opera..I ordered the soundtrack
3:10 to Yuma with Russell Crowe was my favorite. I really, really liked this movie.

And that, my friends, is about all I have accomplished this week! Hopefully, this weekend things will turn around. I have all of my fingers and toes tied in knots and my eyes crossed and that is all I can do, lol.

I hope your weekend brings some fun and washes away your frustrations. I know I have had many of those pouty days of my own.

You have a right to pout! I hope things get on the upswing for you.
I don't watch much t.v. or to many movies, but I did watch 3:10 to Yuma and I loved it too! Good old westerns, they don't make enough of those.

LMAO!! OMG - a good pout cleanes the soul, didn't you know that? It helps if the pout comes with movies and ice cream too --

Some days are not meant for quilting - but it looks like you got a nice movie watching marathon out of it. I hope your sewing machines are well rested and ready for a marathon sewing session.

LOL That's funny what Carol said up there. But momma did say that. You know she did.
Hubby's watching Michael Clayton right now. Gotta go watch too. Stop stomping your foot and lose that pouty face.

I like the Russell Crowe version of 3:10 to Yuma even better than the original with Glenn Ford. And the guy who played Charlie was the baddest bad guy I'd seen since Joaquin Phoenix in Gladiator. Movies do serve a purpose some days. We all can relate to your "when it rains it pours" rut.

Love Kyle's Chicken Quilt, that is to cute!

Don't you hate when a machine isn't playing nice!

Gesh! Had days and days like this. It always feels good to just shut it all down, walk out of the sewing room and let the screen door slam behind me! I can hear quilty things whispering "don't let the screen door hit ya", I swear! Those voices are taunting me to come on back and ruin some more fabric! Heehehee...we all need to walk away at some point. Popcorn and a movie, anyone?
