I Did Some Shopping During the Holidays

and bought some neat fabric. These were some batiks and a good neutral for my Sweet Romance collection when I get around to making a quilt out of it.

Here is a black and white with some red mixed in. Had to have it for a black and white quilt I have been collecting fabric for for several years, lol.
This is a new collection called Nine from Sanae. Think I will make an Irish Chain with it. Will be on the lookout for a good neutral to use for the background.

Here is Kashmir 3, luscious deep colors. No idea what I am going to do with it at the moment.

Of course I had to visit Fat Quarter Shop during their sale. This is Woodland Bloom. Isn't it gorgeous? I know I bought specific yardage but don't remember offhand what pattern I was planning on, lol.

I also picked up Fresh Paint from Fat Quarter Shop. Here again I bought specific yardage more or less for a pattern. Sure don't know which one, though. At the prices these were available I just couldn't pass them up. Thank you Kimberly for having the great sale you had. Hope to see it again next year!

And then I made the mistake of buying the Country Garden Quilts book by Kaffe Fassett, and one night when I was just too tired to do anything I was looking through this book and found this quilt. It is called Chintz Quilt. I fell in love with it, so I got on the internet and found all of the fabric that this quilt called for, and
lo and behold, it has appeared in my mailbox and here it is in all it's glory. Love it!!!

Now I am on a fabric diet (I hope). So far so good for this year. And it is already the 8th of the month, lol. Good start, huh. My fabric closet is bulging, and I can't find some things I have been looking for for another quilt I am doing, lol. Oh, well. I have actually been doing a little sewing and trying to get caught up. Hopefully will have some actual quilting things to show soon.
Have a good weekend everyone!

No wonder you didn't go to the show...you're broke, right?!?! LOL
LOVE all of your fabric. Do you do your internet shopping at night?
I do sometimes and I think I joined a BOM from Australia last night...geez, I wonder how much that will cost me?
